Gagging vs. Choking - Magnet
Introducing your baby to solid food inevitably comes with a bit of gagging. Babies are equipped with a very sensitive gag reflex to naturally help prevent choking. It’s also natural that the sound of gagging can be alarming to adults, however, it is important not to react suddenly when a baby starts gagging. Knowing the difference between gagging and choking allows the baby to learn how to effectively bite, chew and swallow the appropriate size bites of food and reduces panic which allows you to react more calmly in the case you do need to interfere.
This magnet serves as a reminder that gagging is normal and okay and intervention is only needed if baby crosses the line into choking. Place it on your refrigerator for easy visibility for you, your spouse, and babysitters, or give it to grandma and grandpa, daycare, or church nursery so you can rest easy knowing all your care providers know basic choking prevention.

Returns: If you are truly unhappy with your purchase and would like to return it, we will refund you the cost of the item only, not to include shipping, and the cost to return the item is your responsibility via USPS. You must request a return within 7 days of receiving your item. Please contact us at babyeatstheabcs@gmail.com before sending your item back. Only unused, undamaged, and complete items are eligible for a refund.
Refunds will be processed via the original form of payment once we have approved, received, and inspected the return(s).
